HUAWEI Mate 90 Pro launched: Kirin 9035, dual-layer OLED, 50MP RYYB OIS main camera

Apart from HUAWEI Mate 90 and Pro Max, there's also the middle version called Mate 90 Pro.

Sharper screen and cameras

Similar to its siblings, the back has a lattice pattern with a floating star ring around the camera module, and the body is machined from a single piece. The phone comes in Emerald Green, Amber Orange, Crystal White, and Obsidian Black. 

It also features 3rd-gen KunLun glass and an IP68/69 dust and water resistance rating.

In front, it features a 6.75-inch dual-layer OLED panel with 2832 x 1280 resolution, 1-120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 1440HZ PWM dimming, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The display

Inside, the phone is powered by the Kirin 9035 octa-core processor. HUAWEI says it provides 11% CPU gains, 10% for GPU, and a 51% improvement for the NPU over the predecessor.

Furthermore, it has 31M rays per second for hardware-level ray tracing but on supported scenes in a game only.

The chip is paired with 12GB/16GB RAM options as well as 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.

For battery, it has a 6,600mAh capacity complemented by 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging support.

The cameras

For cameras, it has a 50MP f/1.4-4.0 RYYB main sensor with OIS + 40MP f/2.2 ultra-wide + 50MP RYYB 4x telephoto camera.

There's also a Red Maple sensor for color accuracy when taking photos.

For selfies, it has a 13MP ultra-wide camera + 3D depth-sensing camera.

Other features mentioned are stereo speakers with HUAWEI Histen audio.

Connectivity features are WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, Satellite connectivity, and dual SIM.

For the OS, the phone runs on HarmonyOS 7.
