After using the phone daily for a month, I noticed several standout features that truly made a difference.
1. Unibody design and robust IP protection - The OPPO Reno16 Pro 5G grabs attention with its sleek, single-piece cold-sculpted glass rear panel. The smooth curves of the glass seamlessly blend into the rear camera housing, eliminating sharp seams or protruding camera bumps and resulting in a clean and refined look. Encased in a textured, matte aerospace-grade aluminum frame, the phone feels solid and premium in hand while remaining impressively lightweight at just under 191 grams.
In addition to its striking design, OPPO has engineered this device for durability in extreme conditions. It features full IP66, IP68, IP69, and high-pressure IP69K dust and water resistance ratings. This means it can confidently withstand high-pressure water jets and heavy rain.

The OPPO Reno16 Pro 5G impresses with its versatility in capturing stunning photos and videos, all while showcasing a sleek unibody design that is durable enough to withstand the elements, thanks to its IP69K rating.
The front features a vibrant 144Hz AMOLED display that is both crisp and responsive. With a robust 6,700mAh battery, users can rely on it to last throughout the day, and the fast charging capability is an added benefit!
However, we do have some concerns regarding the significant price difference between the current model and its previous generation. We also hope that future models will include wireless charging.
If you prioritize a sleek unibody design, versatile portrait and selfie cameras, a vibrant display, and extended battery life, the OPPO Reno16 Pro 5G is an excellent choice. On the other hand, if your primary focus is on top-tier gaming performance or native wireless charging, it may be worthwhile to compare it with other performance-oriented alternatives.
