TECNO Spark 50s 5G launched: Dimensity 6400, 120Hz display, and 6,500mAh battery

TECNO expands its popular budget-friendly smartphone lineup in India with the new Spark 50s 5G.

A new Spark arrives

GizmoChina reports that the new TECNO Spark 50s 5G features a modern design with a flat frame, curved corners, and a horizontal camera bar on the back. It measures 167.9 x 79.3 x 8.2mm and weighs 210 grams despite its massive battery. It is IP64 Pro dust- and water-resistance rated and is MIL-STD-810H military-grade certified. It is available in either Burgundy Red or Breeze Blue.

It features a 6.78-inch LCD screen with a 1,576 x 720 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 560 nits of brightness.

Inside the phone is the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, microSD card expansion, and a 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging via USB-C.

At the back is the 50MP f/1.85 main camera with an LED flash, while in front is an 8MP selfie camera.

Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, and WiFi.

There is no word yet on Philippine or international availability and pricing.
