HTC U11 Plus w/ 18:9 screen now official!

Right on schedule, HTC has unleashed the company's latest flagship Android smartphone today, the HTC U11 Plus w/ gorgeous 6-inch 18:9 screen aspect ratio.

The HTC U11 Plus is the U11 w/ 6-inch QHD+ Super LCD 6 18:9 screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It has that near bezel-less look that screams flagship in any way you look at it. The body still uses the "Liquid Surface" design w/ IP68 water and dust resistance in ceramic black, amazing silver, and translucent.

Inside, the U11 Plus is still powered by Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 835 chip clocked at 2.45GHz. It's paired w/ either 4GB or 6GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB expandable storage, and enhanced 3,930mAh battery w/ Quick Charge 3.0 support.

On the camera part, there's a 12MP UltraPixel 3 OIS camera with an f/1.7 aperture size, UltraSpeed autofocus, and a dual tone LED flash. It can shoot up to 120fps of 1080p videos and 4K videos w/ Hi-Res audio. In front, it has an 8MP f/2.0 sensor w/ 85-degree wide lens.

It still has Edge Sense that allows you to squeeze the phone for extra functions. The fingerprint scanner was moved behind in favor of the gorgeous near all screen display.

It has support for WiFi ac, LTE Cat 15, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, and GLONAS

The HTC U11 Plus runs w/ Android 8.0 Oreo w/ HTC Sense UI on top.
