HTC U12 showcased at Taiwan 5G Industry Alliance meeting?

At the Taiwan 5G Industry Alliance inaugural meeting, devices like the Vive PRO, Vive Focus, unlisted VR devices from Taiwan and HTC phones that have not been released to the public was showcased.

One of them is a beautiful looking HTC smartphone with tall 18:9 screen aspect ratio and Galaxy S8-like curved display. Is this the HTC U12?

According to Evan Blass, the famed leaker, it is the HTC U12. It is rumored to feature a 6-inch 18:9 screen, Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 GPU and the X20 LTE modem.

The LTE X20 LTE modem is capable of reaching download speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps! At the event, the alleged HTC U12 smartphone clocked 798.52 and 809.58 download speeds.

Let's also expect this handset to showcase an improved camera or cameras,  Edge Sense for squeeze commands, and the latest Android Oreo OS.

HTC is expected to unveil this smartphone sometime this year.
