Bureau of Internal Revenue launches Digital TIN ID via eGovPH App

In coordination with the DICT, the Bureau of Internal Revenue announces public availability of the BIR Digital TIN ID through the eGovPH App.

This development allows Filipinos access to their digital TIN ID using their smartphone. 

Before accessing the feature, the feature will only work if the user's eGovPH profile matches their records. Users must already have a digital TIN ID in the BIR system.

How to access the digital TIN ID:

1. Download the eGovPH app from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

2. Create an account and enter your correct personal details.

3. Verify your identity through Facial Recognition

4. Log in using your registered email or mobile number, OTP, and 6-digit MPIN.

5. Open the 'Digital ID' section of the app

6. View your BIR Digital TIN ID.

The service was created with the aim of making services easier to access and help reduce illegal activities. The service was made in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). It builds on the Online Registration and Update System (ORUS), introduced in 2023, which allows users to apply for a TIN online and verify it through a QR code.
