FiiO M3 Announced, An Ultra Low Cost HiFi DAP For Just 2500 Pesos?

FiiO really has that vision of bringing high quality audio to the masses and it seems that they're successful with that in a span of two years. First with the FiiO X3 which has unprecedented audio quality for the price, then it was followed by the FiiO X1 an even more affordable HiFi DAP and now with this FiiO M3 project that aims to push the boundaries further.

The FiiO M3 based on what we've been reading in head-fi is a mini dedicated music player for those who wanted to experience great sound on a tight budget with great portability. It has a support for 24 bit lossless audio and has up to 16 hours of battery life.

It also has a micro SD card slot storage that's up to 128 GB. The FiiO M3 measures at just 74 x 39.7 x 9.1 mm making it one of the smallest portable music player in the world today. This device is also pretty lightweight at just 40 g.

It might be out by early January of 2015 and it's expected to retail in the 2,500 to 3,000 Pesos range. If that's the case, it's going to be the most affordable HiFI capable DAP coming from a well known and trusted brand.
