Remember our leaked Kirin 950 benchmark scores post? If that's the case, then the newly launced Huawei Mate 8 might be the phone with the most powerful processor in the world right now. Why? Aside from the 2.3 GHz Kirin 950 octa core processor, this leviathan like device also has an i5 coprocessor inside!

According to the press release of Huawei that's posted by GSM Arena, the i5 coprocessor manufactured using TSMC's 16 nm FinFET process "supports speech recognition, low-power consumption MP3, all the functions of a sensor hub, fused location provider (FLP) navigation, and reduces location-based power consumption,"

It also boast the beastly Mali T880 GPU, packs a 6 Inch FHD screen w/ 2.5D glass, 4,000 mAh battery, the latest 16 MP Sony IMX298 camera at the back and 8 MP selfie camera in front. The Mate 8 will also come with 3 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM, 4 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM / 128 GB ROM variants.
