MWC 2017: List Of Smartphones Launched!

MWC 2017, the biggest and grandest mobile show on earth featured the very best of what the smartphone industry has to offer in Barcelona Spain recently. So, in case you missed it, here's a recap of the key smartphone announcements by brands.
The beastly Sony Xperia XZ Premium

1. Sony - Sony had a blast on that event. The former giant in the world of smartphones has launched the Xperia XZ Premium, one of the first device globally running on the new Snapdragon 835 processor and 19 MP Motion Eye camera w/ 960 fps slow motion video recording. The company has also announced the lower-end Xperia XZs, Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 Ultra.

2. Gionee - The Chinese handset maker has announced two selfie and battery centric handsets, the Gionee A1 and Gionee A1 Plus. The Gionee A1 has a 16 MP front camera while the Gionee A1 Plus rocks a 20 MP front camera.

3. ZTE - The Chinese mobile maker had a couple of entry-midrange phones, the Blade V8 Lite, and Blade V8 Mini. The Blade V8 Mini rocks a Snapdragon 435 chip while the Blade V8 Lite sports MediaTek's MT6750 processor.

4. Alcatel - Alcatel was pretty bold with their affordable offerings this time. The U5, A3, and A5 LED are colorful yet capable for the expected price point. The A5 LED even has a "dazzling" LED panel covering the entire back of the phone that will light up for incoming notification and can display different LED patterns.

5. Motorola - The Lenovo owned brand introduced the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. The Moto G5 lower-end model running on Snapdragon 430 while the Moto G5 Plus is the more interesting midranger that features a 12 MP f/1.7 Dual Pixel camera for a very low price. Both loads with Android 7.0 Nougat as well.

6. BlackBerry - The iconic brand is back by bringing the BlackBerry KEYone smartphone with physical QWERTY keyboard. However, their return might be derailed due to its very high pricing for the specs. Let's see.

7. Nokia - To continue to their comeback bid, Nokia has announced that the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 midrange smartphones will be available globally soon. This is not smartphone related, but the company has also introduced a revamped version of the Nokia 3310, the most popular dumb phone ever.

8. LG - The South Korean powerhouse has launched the LG G6, this time it focuses on function more than gimmick. The modular design is gone and it now has better screen, water / dust resistance, battery life, and cameras.

9. Huawei - The world's most underrated brand today has launched the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. Both devices comes with better build, sharper screens, speedier performance, and sharper dual cameras coming from their excellent predecessors. It might be the best camera on a smartphone yet as well.
