Alcatel Launches The Affordable Idol 5s Together With Two Other Handsets
Alcatel has announced three new smartphones today. It includes the new Alcatel Idol 5s equipped with arguably one of the best specs for its US asking price.

The new Alcatel dol 4s boasts a slimmer design, better multimedia capabilities with dual 3.6-watt front-facing speakers, VR support (VR box sold separately) and Android Nougat OS out of the box.
The specs includes a 5.2 inch FHD screen with 2.5D curved glass and oleophobic coating. Inside, the handset is powered by a 2.0 Hz 64 Bit Snapdragon 625 octa core processor with Adreno 506 graphics.
Alcatel paired it with ample 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB expandable storage and 2,620 mAh of battery capacity. The cameras includes a 12 MP f/2.0 OV12870 w/ AF, EIS and dual tone LED flash rear cam and an 8 MP f/2.0 OV8865.

On the other hand, the Alcatel A50 is an interesting customizable device. It has snap-on cases dubbed as Snapbak for added functionality. It has a LightUp Snapbak case for LED ring light around the frame of the device and Sound Snapbak that adds 2.5W of speaker with built-in kickstand.
It features a 5.2 inch 720p display, quad core chip, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable storage, 2,800 mAh, 13 MP main cam and 5 MP selfie cam.
The standard model is priced at USD 149 or around PHP 7.5K. The model with ads from Amazone will go for just USD 99 or around PHP 5K. Amazon is also offering a bundle with Snapbak LED case for USD 129 or around PHP 6.5K.
The Alcatel A30 Plus has a bigger 5.5 inch HD Screen, quad core chip, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB expandable storage, 3,000 mAh of battery, 13 MP main cam and 5 MP selfie camera.
There's no word on its pricing though.
