Can it shoot great photos? |
On paper, it has a 16 MP + 8 MP dual camera setup behind. The 16 MP sensor for RGB (colors) while the 8 MP sensor is a monochrome lens for added details.
It has 2x optical zoom like the iPhone 7 Plus, can shoot in monochrome like Leica x Huawei devices and has the ability blur the background of your shots artificially.
In front, it has a 5 MP shooter with w/ 2x digital zoom and 86 degrees wide angle lens.
Intriguing right? Here's a look at our first few snaps using Doogee Mix.

Initially, the photos we took are grainy in details at times. But, it has good and well saturated colors overall. The 2x "optical" zoom looks artificial, but gladly it is better than most digital zoom at this price point. The monochrome mode is interesting and has nice dynamic range in well lit conditions. However, the dual camera struggled in lowlight (like most affordable midrangers).
For selfies, it slightly blueish or violetish in color and not that detailed mostly.
What do you think guys?
