Alcatel U5 HD Now Official
After revealing the U5 last MWC, Alcatel made its upgrade official, the U5 HD. It retained the 5 inch screen, but it now has an HD screen with better specs.

Checking the specs, the Alcatel U5 sports a 64-bit MT6737 quad-core chip paired with 1GB / 2GB RAM, 8GB / 16GB of expandable storage, and 2,200 mAh of battery.

The cameras was upgraded too. From 5MP, Alcatel added an 8MP sensor w/ LED flash behind. In front it was upgraded to 5MP in front from 2MP.
The phone also has LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, and Nougat OS.
It also has a version with bigger 13MP main camera w/ LED flash, 8MP selfie camera w/ LED flash, 4G LTE w/ VoLTE, and just Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

The Alcatel U5 will be available next week in key markets. The price is still unknown for now.
