HTC's Desire 10 Pro boasts capable overall specs for a midrange offering from an international brand. For us, the main highlight of this device are its cameras. Why and how? On paper, it has one of the most impressive shooters in the sub PHP 15K price range.

In particular this phone is equipped with an interesting 20 MP f/2.2 main camera with laser AF for faster focus and OIS (optical image stabilization) for stabilized photos and videos. It even has a dual tone LED flash for shooting behind.
Moreover, the Desire 10 Pro has a revamped camera software with manual control and RAW format support.
In front, it has a 13 MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture size and panorama for selfies and groufies. Given that it has a big 13 MP camera in front, it could be a competitive selfie phone as well.

Initially, we noticed that the Desire 10 Pro can shoot images with plenty of details in daylight with very little noise. For artificial light and lowlight conditions, the results we got are quite good for a midrange smartphone as well. Producing bokeh on close-up shots is possible even on point and shoot too!
Colors reproduction are okay as well. It is just a tad undersaturated, but overall quality is above-average in our opinion. Shooting speed and focus could be faster though.
The same goes with the selfie camera. Details are sharp. Colors are slightly warmer than the main camera.
