Canon PIXMA Ink Efficient E3170, Business And Creative Printing Made Easy?

Canon announced the launch of the new PIXMA Ink Efficient E3170. They promise it will be the perfect partner for students, creatives and even entrepreneur. It will boast efficient, low cost, high yield cartridges too.

The PIXMA Ink Efficient E3170, as the name implies, focuses on efficiency

Canon PH's Consumer Group Director Benn Yu proudly presented this new printer and stated this:

We are happy to present a new addition to our PIXMA E series printers that meets the needs of students and home-based businesses for more efficient delivery of work.With its all-in-one features, the PIXMA Ink Efficient E3170 assures users of convenient printing experience while producing high-quality prints required for school and office work.

The PIXMA E3170 is designed to deliver over 400 monochrome prints and 180 colored prints with high volume yet low cost inking and printing system. It can also handle WiFi and mobile printing via local WiFi connection or direct wireless communication with your devices even without a router.

The wireless connectivity is done through their Canon Inkjet/SELPHY app that is available for iOS and Android device. You can scan documents ahnd print them immediate with PIXMA E3170. You can also check your ink levels, change printer settings and register printers to various cloud services such as Google Cloud Print and PIXMA Cloud Print.

Canon also promises to make the operation of the PIXMA E3170 a breeze. It has a a segment-LCD display that shows easy-to-follow guides that will users in various operations such as the wireless setup or printing copies in multiple document sizes. The panel also include a one-touch network switch that allows the user to easily switch from wireless mode to infrastructure mode. 

The PIXMA E3170 also has an intelligent power management system that can accommodate auto ON/OFF situation. It turns off after several minutes of inactivity and turns on in an instant a print job is received. 

Canon launched the PIXMA E3170 last August with the price of PHP 4,695.
