MWC 2018: Huawei MateBook X Pro with 13.9-inch FullView screen now official

Aside from the new MediaPads, Huawei also launched the MateBook X Pro notebook at the ongoing MWC 2018.

The Huawei MateBook X Pro highlights a beautiful metal clad body and a 13.9-inch FullView display. In particular, the 13.9-inch FullView screen of this notebook has 91 percent screen-to-body ratio, 4.4 mm narrow bezels, and 3000 x 2000 resolution.


Huawei also claimed that it has 100% sRGB color gamut, 450 nits brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio, and 10 points of touch.

Inside, it is powered by the new 8th Generation Intel CoreTM i7-8550U processor, 8GB / 16GB RAM, NVMe PCIe SSD, and 57.4WHr battery with up to 12 hours of 1080p video playback. It is rechargeable using a USB Type-C 65W Power Adapter as well.

Huawei also stated that it has 2x USB Type C port (one of them has ThunderboldTM 3 support), 1x USB-A port, headphone jac, 

Since it has no room for the camera, Huawei placed it under the F5 key. It also has a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos surround sound.

The MateBook X Pro is just 14.6 mm slim and weighs at 1.33 kg. It'll come in space gray and mystic silver options.

There's no word on the official SRP and date of availability yet though.
