The alleged P20 phones

Yes, the Huawei P20 and P20 Plus seem to have an iPhone X-like notch at the top of the display. It is a bit smaller and more subtle though. Huawei will not be launching this in at MWC 2018 as they scheduled a different dedicated launch event on March 27.

The leak's timing is impeccable for Huawei too. Although they are not launching the P20 family at MWC, they are still stirring up the news feed around the world. They renders show a futuristic, sleek design with slim bezels and the aforementioned notch. There is also a fingerprint button up front for the P20 while the P20 Plus moves it to the back to make way for a smaller bottom bezel.

The P20 Plus seems to be the only one getting the tri-lens camera setup as well. However, a possible and much rumored about P20 Pro may also sport it if it comes into fruition. Specs that were stated in the leaks include a 6-inch 2160 x 1080 display, Kirin 970 SoC, 6GB or 8GB RAM variants with 128GB or 256GB internal memory. The battery is also said to have 4,000 mAh of power.

The rumored triple rear camera system will sport a combo of a 12MP color sensor, a 16MP black and white sensor and a 16MP telephoto lens. An f/1.8 aperture is thrown into the mix with no specific indication on which sensor it is as well as the OIS feature. The front camera will have an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture size.

The Huawei P20 Plus is set to go for a rumored CNY 5,899 (USD 930) price range for the 8GB / 256GB variant.

As with all rumors, these information are subject to change so stay tuned once an official announcement is made.
