Pixel Launcher now has an APK, root-free version

Originally, the Pixel Launcher for both the Pixel and Pixel 2 line of phones was not available for download by conventional means. However, a user from XDA-Developers named Amirz and paphonb, was able to repack the launchers from the Pixel and Pixel 2 into APK that can be used even on a low-end phone.

You don't even need a rooted device for this one. The APKs are aptly named the "Rootless Pixel Launcher" and the "Rootless Pixel 2 Launcher" by Amirz and paphonb respectively. These launchers are also available for tablets and comes Android for Work features as well. In addition to these two there is also a version especially made for Android Go which means it is suitable for low-end devices.

The special Android Go version will have a 4 x 4 App Grid, the Google Feed, At A Glance Widget, icon pack support and even homescreen rotation. The catch, however, is that you can't use widgets and notification dots.

You can download the launchers here.
