Alcatel 1 with 18:9 screen and Android Go OS announced!

Alcatel just announced the Alcatel 1 in Russia, a new Android Go device. It's the lower-end brother of the 1x revealed last MWC 2018.

Going to the specs, the Alcatel 1 features a 5-inch 18:9 screen with 960 x 480 resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek's new 1.3GHz 64-bit MT6739 quad-core processor paired with IMG PowerVR GE8100 GPU.

Gold variant

It also has 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. Alcatel also added a 5MP primary camera and a secondary 2MP selfie snapper.

The Alcatel 1 also has LTE support and dual SIM card slots. It will be available in gold, blue, and black.

The Alcatel 1 is probably the cheapest Android Go device of the company yet. However, we still don't know the rest of the missing specs, exact SRP, and date of international availability.
