Huawei Watch 2 2018 with eSIM launched!

Huawei just launched the Watch 2 2018, the refreshed Huawei Watch 2 of last year. It now has support for eSIM instead of nano SIM.

This allows you to call, do SMS messaging, and use 4G LTE for apps even without connecting to your phone. Huawei also added dual microphone to improve call quality. But, you can still connect it to your favorite Bluetooth headphones.

Huawei also claimed that this tech won't cause a lot of radiation.

Most of the design and specs are still the same. As expected, it still has most of the fitness features like the eight kinds of exercise, FIRSTBEAT motion algorithm training plan, real-time continuous heart rate monitoring, GPS, and Huawei Pay.

The Huawei Watch 2 2018 standard Bluetooth model costs CNY 1,688 (PHP 13.8K), eSIM and 4G nano SIM version retails for CNY 1,888 (PHP 15.4K), and the black edition is priced ay CNY 1,988 (PHP 16.3K).

There's no word yet if it'll be available in other parts of the world including the Philippines.
