Xiaomi Mi Band 3 with water resistance and NFC launched!

At the launch of the Mi 8 and Mi 8 SE yesterday, Xiaomi also launched the Mi Band 3. It's the follow-up of the highly successful Mi Band 2.

The Mi Band 3 has  interchangeable straps in different color, water resistance up to 50 meters, and a 0.78-inch OLED screen with 128 x 80 resolution. Xiaomi also updated its battery capacity to 110mAh which gives it up to 20 days of battery life on a single charge.

It also has Bluetooth 4.2 and fitness tracking features. It can still measure your steps, and heart rate. It even now has a feature that allows you to answer calls.

Moreover, there's a variant that has NFC chip for wireless payments.

Like before, the Mi Band 3 is extra-affordable for the design, specs, and features. Xiaomi priced the Mi Band 3 at just CNY 169 (PHP 1.4K) for the regular variant and CNY 199 (PHP 1.6K) for version with NFC.

It will be available in China starting Tuesday, June 5.
