National G-Shock limited edition launched in commemoration of the watch's 35th year!

G-Shock continues their "creating a watch that never breaks" mantra with the a new watch that carries the design of the National G-shock contest winner!

This watch was created with the "Triple 10" concept in mind where in it is built to endure 10-meter falls, 10-bars underwater and 10-years of battery life.

With the "Habi" inspired strap

Early in 2018, the Design the National G-Shock contest was announced where in the watch company sought to create a watch that embodies the nationalism and indomitable spirit of the Filipinos pride!

Over 1,200 nationwide entries were passed that went through rigorous judging process that culminated in the announcement at Vertis North.

The Grand Prize winner, Dylan Dylanco calls her design "Habi" that drew inspiration from all over the Philippines from the Ifugaos to the Moros that produced ethnic patterns that symbolise bravery, elaborate tattoos, and other intricate traditional weaves that alludes to the weather's toughness, courage and status in ancestral warrior society.

My design is entitled "Habi", which is an old weaving technique our ancestors used to create art and basic supplies," said Dylanco. I hope that my design will remind Filipinos of the Philippines, no matter where they are.

The Philippine designed watch will only be available locally for PHP 9,995 and is limited to 200 units only.
