Huawei Nova 3 with Kirin 970 and quad cameras announced!

In China, Huawei released the Nova 3. It is the beefier brother of the Nova 3i with more powerful overall specs.

Compared with the Nova 3i's 2.5D curved glass, the Nova 3 has a 3D curved glass at the back just like the Huawei P20/P20 Pro. In front, it still has the same 6.3-inch 2.5D curved IPS screen w/ FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution at 409 ppi.

But, it now has the speedier 2.36GHz 64-bit Kirin 970 octa-core processor w/ NPU and i7 co-processor and Mali-G72 MP12 w/ GPU Turbo. The RAM and battery size is also bigger at 6GB and 3,750mAh respectively.

On the camera part, it still has a quad camera setup. But, it is upgraded to a brighter and better16MP f/1.8 RGB sensor paired with a 24MP monochrome sensor w/ PDAF, contrast focus, Master AI, and LED flash.

The face unlock now has infrared light which makes it work even in dark conditions. Like the Nova 3i, it has the cute 3D Qmoji mode.
