Huawei Nova 3i's benchmark scores, is it good enough?

Tomorrow, Huawei will officially make the Nova 3i available in the Philippines. It's their latest mid-ranger with game changing design and features for PHP 15,990. On top of that, it has beastly specs for the price.

AnTuTu benchmark

1. AnTuTu benchmark - At AnTuTu, it scored 137,731. It is higher than most phones for the price. For example, it has a higher score than 70K score of the Galaxy J8 (2018) from Samsung.

Its overall speed is also comparable or even better than the ZenFone 5 which is priced at PHP 19,995. At AnTuTu can even compete with the Nokia 7 Plus with PHP 21,990 price tag.

Only the OPPO F7 can compete with it in terms of AnTuTu score at this price point.

Geekbench score

2. Geekbench benchmark - At Geekbench, it has a single-core score of 1,594 and multi-core score of 5,526. Again, it is higher than most at this price point. Again, it can directly compete or beat the likes of the Vivo V9, ZenFone 5, and Nokia 7 Plus. Even Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 failed to beat its Geekbench score.

PCMark work battery life test

3. PCMark work battery life test - Our PCMark work battery life test result also showed that it is a pretty power efficient device. It is on par or better than most of the above-mentioned competing smartphones.

The battery score of the Nova 3i is also a higher than the Nova 2i last year. It is also way better than the P20 lite this year.
