MSI will be launching two new laptops this August and we got first dibs!

The Micro-Star International has confirmed that they will be launching two new laptops in the Philippines coming August 2018! The executives from MSI in their head office in Taiwan and here in the Philippines gave our team first dibs on their "secret" laptops that will be revealed next month! 

MSI PS42 and MSI GF63

First up is the MSI PS42, it is a lightweight laptop and according to the Taiwan-based company, it is optimized for those who are always on the go and casual gamers.

MSI PS42

The unit comes in an elegant, silver metal finish with silver keyboard and touchpad. As you can see, it has thin black bezels and has a slim profile. PS42 also has a fingerprint sensor for security. The speakers are set just above the keyboard.

As you can see it has a nice matte, silver finish on the back. The MSI gaming logo is placed on the upper middle in a silver accent as well.

The MSI PS42 has 1x HDMI port, charger port, and 3.5 mm jack port on the left side plus 2x USB 2.0 on the right side with 1x micro-USB and micro-SD card reader.

At the bottom of the PS42 are rubber stoppers to keep the laptop from moving on its place. 

Overall, the MSI PS42 has a clean finish and is also lightweight to carry. MSI has no word on its final and full specifications of this laptop yet.

MSI GF63

Next up is the MSI GF63. According to MSI this is an entry-level gaming laptop that they will be launching. This one's a bigger laptop compared with the PS42. It sports a wider and bigger screen with thin bezels. It has back-lighted keyboard and wide touch pad.

It features a clean, black matte metal finish and a slimmer profile compared to most of the thick profiled gaming laptops we have in the market. GF63 has a simple, black matte finish with an red accented MSI gaming logo on the upper middle.

On the left side, you have 1x USB 2.0 and charging port while on the right side are 2x USB 2.0 ports, microphone port, and 3.5 mm jack port.

As you can see it has elevated rubber stoppers to keep the laptop in place with NVIDIA GeForce GTX sticker.

Overall, the MSI GF63's aesthetics makes up a gaming laptop. Although it is an entry-level one, MSI said that it will not disappoint the casual gamers.
