The new Sony RX100 Mk VI is up for pre-order in the Philippines!

Sony recently announced the latest version of the popular RX100 series compact camera and has announced availability and pre-order details for the Philippines!

The new RX100 Mk. VI!

It is stated to arrive on August 4th, 2018 with pre-orders beginning on July 14 up to August 3, 2018. When you pre-order, it entitles you to get an ACC-TRDCX battery kit and a 64GB memory card.

ACC-TRDCX travel charger and battery kit!

The ACC-TRDCX is a travel charger and a battery kit that you can carry with you on the go and charge the main battery while you use the included spare battery kit.

The new RX100 Mk. VI carries over most of the features from the Mk. V like 4K video recording but it now has an all new Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 24-200 f/2.8-4.5 equivalent lens. The range has been extended from the previous Mark V's 24-70 f/2.8 but it loses the constant maximum aperture of f/2.8.

It is also been upgrade with Sony's latest and fastest autofocus system that is made possible because of the 315 focal-plane phase-detection points with 65 percent sensor coverage, contrast-detection AF, and the popular Eye AF technology.

This is also the first RX100 series camera to feature a touch screen that added convenience for amateur and professional photographers alike.

To avail the special pre-order promotion, customers just have to visit Sony centers and authorized dealers and settle a non-refundable PHP 4,000.00 downpayment. 

The official price of the RX100 Mk. VI has yet to be announced but the previous Mk. V had an SRP of PHP 56,999.
