Huawei treated Apple fans queueing for the new iPhone XS and XS Max with a power bank because "they will need it"

Today is the first day of public sale of the latest Apple iPhone XS and XS Max in Singapore.

Huawei made sure they're there to "help" the consumers with their latest mobile device and here’s what happened.

Huawei handed around 100 FREE Huawei-branded 10,000,mAh power banks with SuperCharge technology to Apple fans patiently queueing for the new iPhone XS and XS Max.

The Chinese tech giant left a note stating: "Here's a power bank. You will need it. Courtesy of Huawei."

Note: The Huawei power banks will work with Apple iPhones because it has fast adaptive charging tech aside from the SuperCharge tech. SuperCharge will only work with modern high-end Huawei devices.

It's a light jab by Huawei to Apple since the battery capacity of the new iPhones are not as big compared with the competition. The new iPhones won't also come with a fast charger inside the box.

Something like a fast charging power bank like this would help Apple users charge their shiny new iPhones faster.

In PH, the above-mentioned power bank is priced at PHP 2,090!

It's also a sign that Huawei is sending a clear message to Apple and Apple fans to step-up their battery capacity and fast charging game.

Recently, Huawei surpassed Apple as the number 2 smartphone brand globally according IDC and other top research firms in the world.

On the other hand, Apple is looking to get its market share back with the launch of the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR powered by 7 nm A12 Bionic chip.

Huawei will also launch a phone with a processor built under the 7 nm FinFET process this October, the much-awaited Mate 20 series.
