Visa Financial Literacy campaign

They will be introducing a teacher-training component in addition to the second tour of "Lukot-lukot, Bilog-bilog" financial literacy theatre production campaign. The play features some of our local national heroes Jose Rizal and Apolinario Mabini. It was designed to educate Filipino youths about the value of money and the importance of financial management.

This financial literacy play was already performed to close 6,000 students, teachers, government agency employees, and public within a few months. We also get to watch it the play and participate by sharing what we're learning yesterday, September 12, at the Visa event in Power Mac Center Spotlight, Circuit Makati.

Visa aims to create a larger impact through the introduction of the teacher-training program. Teachers will gain financial literacy knowledge by learning through TFP trainers on how to integrate concepts of financial literacy into their lesson plans.

The "Lukot-lukot, Bilog-bilog" financial literacy theatre production will also be produced in digital formats so that the teachers can use it as a teaching tool. Visa also said that through this, more and more students in the country will have an access in this theatre production.

What do you think of this guys? Let us know in the comments how you find the campaign if you or your children have had the chance already to watch the theatre production!
