It only took 10 units to win a Tesla

HONOR Philippines has announced the winner of its nationwide "Win a Tesla Cybertruck" promotion, which was held to mark the significant sales success of the HONOR X9d 5G.

The official draw, overseen by a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative, took place on February 3, 2026, following thousands of entries. The grand prize, a Tesla Cybertruck, has been awarded to Lorelyn Felonia of Quezon City.

Felonia purchased 10 units of the HONOR X9d 5G. The promotion, which launched on January 9, 2026, to celebrate the arrival of #TheToughestPhone, automatically entered customers who bought the device during its pre-order period for a chance to win the grand prize.

We were truly overwhelmed by the support and warm reception from our loyal HONOR fans nationwide, said HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng. "We extend our gratitude to Miss Felonia and to everyone who purchased and supported the HONOR X9d 5G. This campaign reflects our commitment to giving back the support we receive from our community."

To recap, the HONOR X9d 5G is positioned as a durable device, with all-around drop, dust, and water resistance (IP66/68/69K).

It has been awarded an SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance Certification and an SGS 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability Certification. The company attributes this durability to its Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, the use of Non-Newtonian fluid, and tempered glass.

Beyond its durability claims, the phone features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution (2640 x 1200) at 427 ppi, a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and an In-Display fingerprint scanner.

Internally, the device is equipped with the 2.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 octa-core processor and an Adreno GPU, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The phone also includes a battery with a capacity of 8,300mAh, which the company states is among the largest currently available in the Philippines, and supports USB-C 66W HONOR SuperCharge.

For imaging, its rear camera system consists of a 108MP f/1.75 main camera with OIS and PDAF, a 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and an LED flash. The front-facing camera is 16MP with an f/2.45 aperture.

The smartphone is still available to purchase at HONOR Experience store, Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop for PHP 17,999.
