New promising G-SHOCK watches in PH soon?

Inspired by the first-ever G-SHOCK from 1983, the new models retain the original's signature shape while introducing softer curves and a more refined analog design. They also debut the Multi-Mission Date feature, a three-cell window at 3 o'clock that displays the date, stopwatch minutes, settings, and other information depending on the mode.

Despite being fully analog, the watches support a fully automatic calendar once the date is set, eliminating the need for manual corrections. Meanwhile, a sleep function lets users stop the small seconds hand at 9 o'clock to help reduce power consumption and extend battery life.

Completing the package are gently curved cases, sharply defined dials, and highly legible indexes designed to balance premium aesthetics with everyday usability.

The GMC-2500 line comes in Black, Silver, Blue, and Gold variants with metal bezels and either resin straps or full metal bracelets, while the GAC-2500 arrives in Black, Green, White, and Yellow colorways with bio-based resin construction.

Interestingly, some watch enthusiasts have already started calling the new models the "CasioNaut" due to some resemblance to the iconic Patek Philippe Aquanaut.

Meanwhile, Casio Philippines has already started teasing the arrival of the GMC-2500 on Facebook, suggesting that at least one of the new "CasioNaut" models could be headed to the local market soon. However, the company has yet to announce official Philippine pricing and availability.
