nubia just launched their most powerful smartphone of 2018, the nubia Red Magic Mars!

A beastly gaming smartphone

The nubia Red Magic Mars features a gaming-centric design RGB LED strip with and ICE dual heat pipe and convention cooling. It also has a large 6-inch screen with 2160 x 1080 resolution at 402 pixels per inch.

Flame red

Under the hood, it now runs with the trusty Snapdragon 845 SoC coming from SD835. Snapdragon 845 is paired with Adreno 630 GPU for better overall gaming. It also has up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and 3,800mAh of battery.

The phone runs with Red Magic OS 1.6 skin based on Android 9.0 Pie. 

Other gaming features

The nubia Red Magic Mars also has touch sensitive ares on the sides of the phones which works like shoulder buttons. It also has a stereo speakers with DTS 7.1 audio for better audio while playing games.

Meteorite black

You can also get a Bluetooth gaming controllers if you want. There is also a box with USB-C charging and HiFi DAC 3.5mm headphone jack slot.

You can buy Bluetooth-connected gaming controllers for even more hardware buttons. There’s also a box that combines USB-C charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack (it has a high-quality DAC inside). It also a headset with a microphone and other accessories.

Cameras

The Red Magic Mars also uses a 16MP f/1.8 lens. It looks like a downgrade coming from the 24MP f/1.7 of the original Red Magic. Hopefully, it is a better sensor even if the megapixel size is lower. For selfies, it goes with a single 8MP selfie camera.

The nubia Red Magic Mars will come in meteorite black, flame red colors, and a special camo version. The camo version is for the top end model.

Price and availability

Price starts at CNY 2,700 for the 6GB RAM/64GB ROM model, CNY 3,200 for the 8GB RAM/128GB ROM, and CNY 4,000 for the 10GB RAM/256GB model.

There's no word regarding its availability yet.
