Meet Spigen Huawei Mate 20 Series Rugged Armor Cases!

Huawei's Mate 20 series has been out for a while now and Spigen has finally brought their Rugged Armor cases for the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro to the Philippines.

At first glance, the two cases follow the same design language of the Rugged Armor line of cases for other phones but there are some differences that we think are worth noting.

Meet Spigen Huawei Mate 20 Rugged Armor Case

The displays are front and center!

If you don't already know, the Rugged Armor line of cases from Spigen is a one piece case that offers drop protection from a height of 48 inches! The drop protection is helped by the Air Cushion technology which aims to provide "maximum protection" for your phone.

The carbon fiber accents at the back!

The volume and power button are textured differently!

It is made of TPU or Thermoplastic Polyurethane with more refined version of the coarse texture. It also retains the carbon fiber accents.

The holes for the cameras, fingerprint sensor, headphone jack, IR blaster, microphones, USB Type-C and the buttons are all placed accurately.

The shell covers the volume and power button but it is easy to press unlike lower quality cases found on the street.

The power button has a different texture than the volume button to distinguish one from the other when pressing either when not looking at the buttons directly. 

The Mate 20 is wider than the Mate 20 Pro but the case curves at the sides which makes it easier and more comfortable to hold one handed. This is a major improvement from the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro cases of last year where we really felt how wide the Mate 10 was.

Spigen has done it again by offering relatively affordable cases that offers great quality that improves upon the last generation.

Price and availability

The Mate 20 case is priced at PHP 900 while the Mate 20 Pro case is priced at PHP 1,000. You can get them at any Spigen stores nationwide.
