Last August, Huawei also said that it raised its shipment forecast from 180 million to 200 million this year. The 200 million units shipment of the company is definitely way bigger than the 3 million units shipped of the company last 2010.

Huawei attributed its success to the P20 and Honor 10 phones. Most likely, the Huawei Mate 20 series, Nova series, and the Y series also helped to its success.

The result? Huawei has surpassed Apple as the 2nd largest smartphone vendor in the world based on the recent reports by IDC and more.

Only Samsung has a bigger market share than Huawei.

Huawei aims to be the largest smartphone vendor in the world by the end of 2019.
