It has a great display suitable for gaming

The Vivo V11 has a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a halo notch and tiny bezels all around. It allows you to play games with crisp details and punchy colors on a bigger screen. The bigger screen with high resolution and tiny bezels allows you to see more things at once and have better grasp of the touchscreen controls.

Processing power

The Snapdragon 660 AIE is quite powerful

The Vivo V11 sports a 64-bit Snapdragon 660 AIE octa-core processor clocked at 1.95GHz. The Artificial Intelligence Engine allows it to run and multitask smoothly. It also has the Adreno 512 GPU that allows it to run some of the graphic intensive games on medium to high settings. It also has 6GB of RAM that ensures it has enough memory to run most games.

The JOVI AI Game Mode with Game Assistant

It also has the JOVI AI Game Mode that can be accessed in the phone settings. This setting allows you to block floating previews and auto reject calls. It also opens the Game Assistant that allows you to access some quick settings and optimize the CPU and RAM usage.

NBA 2K19 runs smooth even on high settings

NBA 2K19 runs great most of the time with minor stutters here and there under the highest settings possible. PUBG Mobile also runs smoothly on medium settings even a few hours of playing. The Vivo V11 did get warm which is to be expected after a few hours of heavy usage. The temps only played around 36 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees.

Our thoughts

For us, the Vivo V11 is far from being a selfie focused mid-range smartphone. It is a good all-rounder that can play games decently thanks to its big screen, capable specs, AI optimization and strong battery life. For PHP 19,990, the Vivo V11 is definitely a great package overall.
