Honor 10 Lite: First Camera Samples

Honor 10 Lite has outstanding value for its price thanks to its 13MP and 2MP rear cameras and 24MP selfie camera.

As mentioned earlier, the rear dual cameras are made up of a 13MP f/1.8  and a 2MP f/2.4 with PDAF and Master AI while the selfie camera is a 24MP f/2.0 with AI face beauty. Honor 10 Lite is also one the very few with an AIS Super Night Mode for low light shots.

It is priced at PHP 9,990 for the 3GB RAM/32GB and PHP 10,990 for the 3GB RAM/64GB ROM variant.

Quick thoughts

Out of the box, the main cameras take good daylight and indoor images with noticeably defined details, vibrant color and decent contrast. 

In low light, the main camera's images tend to be grainy and tend to overexpose highlights quickly. This can be mitigated if your subjects are able to stay still with the Super Night mode which produces highly detailed and well exposed images!

It is the one of the few 24MP selfie camera at this price point and the images have good color, defined details and good contrast.

The low light images are also able to control grain and exposure well and makes up for the somewhat softer images.

It is one of the best camera phone for the price so far.
