Call of Duty is coming to your Android and iOS devices!

Famous video game Call of Duty (COD) is finally coming to your smartphones following a teamup between its developer Activision and Tencent.

To be called Call of Duty: Mobile, both parties unveiled details for the much-awaited mobile game. 

The game will introduce a standalone, free-to-play, first-person shooter. According to a 49-second trailer posted on YouTube, the mobile game would allow signature multiplayer and fight alongside friends. 

Players can also choose iconic maps and modes, like Nuketown and Crash, as well as characters and weapons from the COD series, including Black Ops and Modern Warfare.

Although there is no official date yet for its official launch, Activision and Tencent said they will release pre-launch beta versions of the game for those who have pre-registered on the website and via Google Play. 

iPhone users can also download it on the iOS App Store, and play the game once fully launched, the companies said.
