It is the same Xiaomi AirDots except its black and more affordable!

The Redmi Airdots was just announced but it is the same wireless earbuds announced by Xiaomi several months a go but at a friendlier price tag at CNY 99 or USD 15 price tag. Half of of the price of the original. This makes the Redmi AirDots the one of the most affordable truly wireless earphones available in the market today.

The one difference is it comes in a black color. It connects via Bluetooth 5.0. For the audio side, it carries a 7.2mm drivers with built-in DSP with "environmental noise reduction". It does not state whether or not this noise cancellation works while normal listening or if it only works while in a call.

It is controlled through taps. Double tap brings in the voice assistant. (Either Siri or Google Assistant. The AirDots ear pieces can last for up to 4 hours while the carrying case can supply an extra 12 hours more of play time. 

The bud charges its 40mAh battery to full in 1 hour and 30 minutes while the case's 300mAh battery takes 2 hours to fill up.

The Redmi Airdots is set to be available in China starting April 9. They are only available in black and has a price tag of CNY 99.
