Realme 3 officially arrives in the Philippines to beat all similarly priced phones

Right on schedule, Realme officially launched the Realme 3 in the Philippines. It's a phone designed to change the entry-level smartphone landscape.

It is equipped with a glossy back cover design with gradient colorway, 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 screen with tiny dewdrop notch, 12nm Helio P60 octa-core processor, up to 4GB RAM, up to 64GB expandable storage, and massive 4,230mAh battery with 10W fast charging solution.

This handset also packs a capable dual-camera setup. It goes with 13MP f/1.8 primary sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 depth lens. It is also the first realme phone with Chroma Boost tech to improve colors and dynamic range and Nightscape for AI-assisted handheld long exposure night shots.

Realme also has a speedy face unlock tech, fingerprint scanner behind, WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

It boots with the clean-looking ColorOS 6.0 skin based on Android Pie OS.

Realme also announced that it has has an open Camera 2 API and bootloader unlocked from day 1.

Realme 3 comes with a very attractive starting price of just PHP 6,990 (online only) for the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM variant.

Realme 3 on Shopee

Starting on March 25 midnight, the realme 3 will be exclusively available on Shopee! with 10 percent price discount.

There's a 3GB RAM/64GB ROM for the offline market version that sells for PHP 7,990 only. The top-end 4GB RAM/64GB ROM is priced at PHP 9,990.

Realme also partnered with Home Credit. The 3GB RAM/64GB ROM model may be available with a 9 or 12-month easy plan. The 4GB RAM/64GB ROM model is available with a 6-month plan at 0 percent interest.
