Massive Huawei P30 and P30 Pro specs leak reveals monstrous cameras

Nearly a week ahead of its March 26 launch date, key specs of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro appeared online.

WinFuture's Roland Quandt, a well-known reliable leaker, leaked the renders and detailed specs of the above-mentioned upcoming flagship smartphones.

P30's alleged highlights

6.1-inch big screen

As expected, the P30 will feature lesser specs than its P30 Pro brother. P30 will come with an IP68 water resistant body and a 6.1-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio, tiny dewdrop notch, and In-Display fingerprint scanner.

It will be powered by the 7nm Kirin 980 chip, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage expandable via NM card, and a 3,650mAh battery with USB-C SuperCharge fast charging solution.

It will also feature a Leica triple-camera setup. It will go with the 40MP f/1.8 main + 16MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle + 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens. 

Huawei P30 will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack slot.

P30 Pro's possible key specs

Large 6.47-inch panel

On the other hand, Huawei P30 Pro also has an IP68 water and dust resistant body, but it now has a large 6.47-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and an In-Display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, it will also be powered by the 7nm Kirin 980 chip. But, it now comes with bigger 8GB RAM, up to 512GB expandable storage via NM card slot, and 4,200mAh battery with USB-C SuperCharge solution.

On the camera part, the P30 Pro will feature a Leica quad rear camera setup. It will come with the new 40MP f/1.6 primary camera + 20MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle lens + 8MP f/3.4 telephoto lens + ToF camera.

The P30 Pro is said to come with up to 10x hybrid zoom. 

Both comes with a 32MP selfie camera and NFC as well. We are unsure of Huawei will also reveal a 5G variant yet. Kirin 980 SoC has the ultra-fast 4G LTE Cat 21 by default.

Expect P30 it to come in black, twilight, and aurora blue color options. P30 Pro comes in black, twilight, aurora blue, and sunrise red color options.
