Apple releases iPod touch with A10 Fusion chip inside

Apple has decided to release a 2019 variant of the iPod touch. It now comes with the A10 Fusion chip, AR experiences, Group FaceTime, and more.

Sadly, the new iPod touch still sports the same old 4-inch Retina display with thick bezels and home button. The cameras are the same as well.

Same design

But inside, this portable music player is a beast. It is now powered by Apple's A10 Fusion chip, the same speedy chip of the iPhone 7. The new iPod touch also goes with 32GB, 128GB, or 256GB of expandable storage.

The result, the new iPod is capable of running a lot of modern apps and storing a lot of music files. Yes, even the heavy lossless audio files.

Apart from that, new immersive augmented reality experiences and Group FaceTime are now available to the audio player.

Apple will also introduce the "Apple Arcade" gaming subscription service for the iPod touch soon. The company said that games on the new iPod will run smoother and will look better.

The Apple's DAP comes in space gray, white gold, blue, pink, and (PRODUCT)RED color options.

Price and availability

The 32GB model is priced at PHP 14,990, the 128GB version is priced at PHP 21,490, and the 256GB edition is priced at PHP 27,990.
