ASUS ZenFone 6 selfie DxOMark score is the highest yet

ASUS's new ZenFone 6 just dethroned Samsung's Galaxy S10 5G as the phone with the best selfie camera yet according to DxOMark.

The best for selfies and selfie videos yet

ASUS's new phone with flip camera mechanism, got a score of 101 points for photos and 93 points for videos or an overall score of 98 points. The closest competition is the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy S10+ with 97 and 96 points, respectively.

The Taiwanese tech firm achieved this feature by using a 48MP f/1.79 main shooter and a 13MP 11mm ultra-wide secondary camera. ASUS paired it with PDAF, laser AF, and dual LED flash as well.

DxOMark said that the ZenFone 6 is can shoot images with good detail and efficient noise reduction on faces, pleasant skin tones white balance in most condition, accurate depth estimation in bokeh mode, and generally accurate target exposure on faces. It also has an accurate and repetable autofocus at all shooting distances.

For videos, it can also shoot with good details on faces with low noise, accurate exposure, and decent stabilization.

DxO also noted that it is the best current options for mobile video creators who like selfie videos.
