Build Quality/Design

Glasstic back of the A20
Glasstic back of the A20

Galaxy A20 uses a lightweight but solid polycarbonate frame with the curved glasstic back that makes it easier to hold and prettier to look at.

Gorgeous design, huge AMOLED screen

The trade off is that the glasstic back scratches easily and it makes the phone slippery while being prone to fingerprints. In front, the screen has no mention of Gorilla Glass protection.

Design-wise, the phone is both beautiful and is a joy to hold. The back contains the fingerprint sensor, Samsung branding and the dual rear camera set up with an LED flash.

In front, it comes in a slim and slender form factor because of the Infinity-U display with slim bezels on the side, a U-shaped notched on top and slightly thicker bezels at the bottom.

At the bottom are the USB Type-C port, single bottom firing speaker, microphone and 3.5 mm headphone jack while the top only has a single microphone.

At the right side is the Volume rocker and power button while at the left is sim card tray. There is no Bixby button.

As mentioned earlier, the A20 looks good and it feels good. However, we wish it wasn't so slippery nor scratch prone.

As of the moment

At first glance, the Samsung Galaxy A20 is one of the better phones from the Korean Giant for its price that has been released in years!

This is because of its class leading Super AMOLED display. It also features a large 4,000mAh battery with USB-C 15W adaptive fast charging and a dual-camera setup with ultra-wide mode behind.

In terms of performance, the Exynos 7884 CPU and Mali-G71 MP2 GPU are more than enough for most people.

We will have to do more testing to see what the A20 can really do.
