Huawei Nova 5i with punch-hole screen, quad-rear cameras announced
Right on schedule, Huawei unleashed the Nova 5 family. The most affordable member of that family is the Nova 5i.

It's the direct successor of the Nova 3i last year since Huawei skipped the Nova 4i. Nova 5i highlights curved glass-like back with gradient design and a 6.4-inch punch-hole screen with FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution.

Huawei's use of a punch-hole display resulted to a massive screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent.
Inside, I'm a bit disappointed that Huawei still used the ageing 12nm Kirin 710 SoC instead of the newly announced Kirin 810.
Fortunately, the company upgraded its max RAM size and battery capacity. It now comes with up to 8GB RAM and 4,000mAh battery.
In the camera part, it goes with four cameras at the back. Nova 5i users will enjoy its AI-assisted 24MP f/1.8 w/ PDAF, CAF + 8MP ultra wide-angle + 2MP 4cm macro + 2MP depth quad-camera system.
