Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 killer?

Kirin 810 uses ARM's 2x Cortex-A76 big cores clocked at 2.27GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 smaller cores clocked at 1.88GHz. It is paired with an ARM's Mali-G52 MP6 GPU which promises a 162 percent performance increase versus the Mali-G51 MP4 GPU last year.

It offers improved gaming with system-level AI FM scheduling tech,
GPU underlying driver upgrades, GPU load optimization, and HD game effects optimization.

Huawei also said that it has the AI frequency modulation scheduling technology can learn frame rate, fluency and touch screen input changes in real-time, predict mobile phone task load, dynamically sense performance bottlenecks in mobile phone use, and according to perform frequency modulation scheduling, and improve prediction accuracy compared with traditional prediction methods.

Meanwhile, the GPU series optimization technology is designed to reduce repeated instructions and GPU overload, and speed up the data transfer speed between CPU, GPU, and memory.

It also uses Huawei's
Gaming+ HD game special effects optimization to improve game quality, clarity, light and dark contrast, and closer to the real-world gaming experience.

Kirin 810 also highlights Huawei's Da Vinci Architecture based on Rubik’s Cube Quantitative Stereo Arithmetic Unit.

There's a new IVP + ISP tech to offer flagship image processing capability with an upgraded pixel processing unit, enhanced white balance algorithm, noise reduction in RAW image processing and more. Huawei said that it is better than Snapdragon 730's Spectra 350 ISP even in low light.

The new chip also goes with support for
Always-on Dual SIM Dual VoLTE support.
