In the first half of the year, Black Shark, Xiaomi’s gaming arm, released the Black Shark 2. This gaming smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 855 - 6 GB RAM pairing and offers visual delight with a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR support and 240Hz touch response rate.

One of the first Snapdragon 855+ phones in the world

While it has only been a few months since its release, Xiaomi is yet again taking mobile gaming to new heights with the introduction of the Black Shark 2 Pro.

This handset will be allegedly equipped with an even more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The flagship SD 855+ sports an overclocked CPU and is claimed to have a 15% percent faster GPU as well as provide smoother, powerful gameplay to mobile devices.

As per the reports on Weibo, the Black Shark 2 Pro is slated for release on July 30 in China. Reports also reveal it will come with a whopping 12 GB RAM and will run Android Pie out of the box, both of which are features mobile gamers can look forward to.

Apart from Liquid Cooling 3.0, we could also expect upgraded specs given its "Pro" tag.
