Huawei Nova 5i Pro is official, an ultra-exciting phone for a mid-ranger!

Right on schedule, Huawei unleashed the Nova 5i Pro in China. It's the company's newest phone packed with exciting design, specs, and features for a mid-ranger.

The leaks are right. The Nova 5i Pro features a Mate 20-like body with a 6.26-inch 2.5D curved IPS screen w/ FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution at 412 ppi and a punch-hole selfie camera.

Kirin 810 monster

Inside, it is powered by the new 7nm 64-bit Kirin 810 octa-core processor clocked at 2.27GHz, Mali-G52 MP6 GPU, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB or 256GB expandable storage, and a 4,000mAh w/ 20W USB-C fast charging tech. According to Huawei, it can charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

The phone also goes with exciting cameras. In fact, it has a total of four cameras at the back. There's a 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX586 main sensor, 8MP f/2.4 ultra wide-angle secondary cam,  2MP f/1.75 4cm macro cam, and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

For selfies, you will see a 32MP f/2.0 snapper inside the punch-hole on the screen.

The Nova 5i Pro will go on sale in China from August 2. The 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,199 (around PHP 16.2K). The 8GB RAM/128GB storage version is priced at CNY 2,499 (around PHP 18.5K) and the 8GB RAM/256GB storage edition retails for CNY 2,799 (around PHP 20.7K).
