The donation is also the company's way of commemorating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Philippines and the Republic of Korea.

The TVs that the company donated are capable as well.

They are equipped with LG's signature panels that can deliver high-quality images with rich colors, deep blacks, and great contrast.

Inside, they are embedded with the company's new α9 Gen2 and α7 Gen2 processors with AI technology. LG claimed that their TVs have deep-learning tech which can automatically display the "best" picture quality from any source and resolution.

LG's AI on TVs also goes with an option to talk to your TV. It listens to your commands and executes them, even those based on earlier conversations.

For audio, sound quality is boosted by an "intelligent" algorithm that can up-mix two-channel audio to deliver "convincing" 5.1 virtual surround sound.

The TV also has HDR support with Dolby Atmos audio for realistic sound. It also supports HDMI 2.1 to allow users to enjoy 4K content at 60fps.

Most of the TVs that LG donated are now available in stores.

Price starts at PHP 75,990 for the 55-inch 55SM8600 model up to PHP 849,990 for the 77-inch OLED77W9.

Thank you, LG!
