HONOR updates 8X, 9, 10, 10 Lite, and Play to EMUI 9.1

HONOR has just started rolling out the Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1 update to some of its phones. It includes the 8X, 9, 10, 10 Lite, and Play.

To recall, EMUI 9.1 comes with interface enhancements, AI-assisted features, and performance enhancements.

It highlights the GPU Turbo 3.0 update which improves gaming performance while reducing SoC power consumption. GPU Turbo 3.0 is compatible with 25 of the most popular games like Mobile Legends, PUBG, ROS, and Fortnite.

It also goes with the Extendable Read-Only File System (or EROFS) to increase start-up speed by 10 percent and read performance as much as 20 percent.

Those who have EMUI 9.1 can also enjoy AI vlog editing and AR Measure App.

To download the update, check the settings of your phone and search for "software update".
