Dr. Chenglu Wang also said that the new phones will run with the soon-to-be-launched Kirin 990 processor based on the 7nm+ EUV process for better performance and battery efficiency.

Previously, it was reported that the phones might be powered by Kirin 985, but that 985 could be the 990 after all.

Other than that, other details are unclear. We expect its chip to be paired with a new GPU, DaVinci NPU, and a built-in 5G modem.

Leaks said that it will come with two versions, the standard Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro. Mate 30 Pro is rumored to feature a massive 6.7-inch 90Hz BOE- made AMOLED panel with an In-Display fingerprint scanner with a large notch for advanced-face scanning tech.

For the cameras, the Mate 30 phones are expected to feature a quad-camera setup with two 40MP sensors.

The phones are expected to run with Android 10-based EMUI 10.0 skin since the company prefers to run Android on flagship devices instead of HarmonyOS yet.

But, we won't be surprised if Huawei will soon show the world a phone running with HarmonyOS.

Now, let's stay tuned for more info.
