Nokia 7.2 and 6.2 are rumored to be released at IFA 2019 in Berlin

HMD Global is gearing up for pre-IFA event; Nokia 6.2, 7.2, and new classic feature phones are expected to take the stage

New Nokia phones are on the way! A tweet by HMD Global's chief product officer Juho Sarvikas has made Nokia's presence at IFA Berlin official.

While the teaser didn't include what devices they will be launching at the event, reports tell that the Android One-powered Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 might be launched. The two smartphones dubbed 'Star-lord' and 'Daredevil' have been making rounds on the internet with leaks and possible specs, much to the excitement of fans of the brand around the world.

Taking rumors into consideration, the Nokia 6.2 might be getting a triple rear camera set up with a main 48MP sensor as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. It will also be featuring a 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a hole punch for the front-facing camera.

Meanwhile, there are talks of the Nokia 7.2 getting a tad larger 6.18-inch FHD+ display with a u-shaped notch for the selfie camera. It is also believed to be powered by an SD 660 SoC and will be sporting the same rear camera setup as the Nokia 6.2.

HMD may also bring back Nokia beloved feature phones such as the 110 and 2720, albeit with a modern twist.

This information is still subject to change, but we'll know if any of this is true at Nokia's pre-IFA event on September 5, 2019.
