Following the launch of HarmonyOS a couple of days back, Huawei's sub-brand HONOR release the very first device with the said new operating system.

The first HarmonyOS powered device in the world is a Smart TV

Dubbed as the HONOR Vision TV, it a Smart TV with impressive style and design. It highlights a 3D arc full metal frame with a diamond texture on the back and a breathing light in front. The TV's slimmest post is just 6.9 mm.


In front, 55-inch display with 4K resolution, HDR support, 87 percent NTSC, and TÜV Rheinland certification. Its display also has a massive 94 percent of screen-to-body ratio and 178-degree viewing angle.

Under the hood, it is powered by the HONGLU 818 quad-core processor with 600MHz Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.

HONOR's new Smart TV comes in two versions, the regular Vision TV and Vision TV Pro.

The standard Vision TV goes with 16GB of internal storage and four speakers. The Vision TV Pro comes with 32GB storage, 6x 10W speakers with Histen audio, and 1080p Smart Pop-up AI camera with HiSilicon Hi3516DV300 NPU with face recognition, body tracking, and posture detection.

As mentioned it runs with the HarmonyOS 1.0 with minimalist interface design, dynamic screensaver, multi-device interaction, Magic-link control to share content to your phone and do screen mirroring easier.

It also comes with a Bluetooth remote. By the way, you can also use your phone as a remote.

The TV has WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz) 2x2, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, 3x HDMI 2.0 (1x HDMI ARC),  1x USB 3.0, 1 x AV, 1 x DTMB, 1 x S/PDIF, and 1 x Ethernet port.

HONOR Vision TV is priced at CNY 3,799 (around PHP 27K). HONOR Vision TV Pro is priced at CNY 4,799 (around PHP 35K).

Note: The converted prices doesn't have taxes and duties yet.

Pre-order starts in China today. The TVs will be on sale starting August 15.
